Please join us in congratulating Lynden Miller on receiving this year’s Outstanding Teaching Award, presented annually to the most deserving adjunct instructors across all of CAS. Our department has been lucky to be home to two consecutive winners of this award, as Lynden joins Holly Haff (2023) in earning the well-deserved recognition.
Our URDS program has been very fortunate to have had Lynden as an adjunct faculty member for the past sixteen years. During this time, she has taught a number of popular Special Topics courses for us, with a focus on parks: most notably, The Role of Well-Designed Public Open Space in the City; Creating Successful and Sustainable Public Space; and Parks, Plants, and People. I hope that Lynden will continue teaching our students for many more years to come.
