Congratulations to Michele Matteini!

Professor Matteini has been invited to be a Visiting Professor at the Department of Asian and North African Studies of the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari (his alma mater) for Spring 2022. He will be teaching a new seminar on the politics of landscape painting in the seventeenth century at Ca Foscari’s M.A. Program. He will also continue to do research on Chinoiserie in eighteenth-century Italy for a project that will also involve NYU’s Villa la Pietra.
