As a visiting scholar in the Department of Art History at the University of Oxford, he continues to work on his book devoted to Jacopo da Pontormo. He has also delivered three public lectures during his stay, both in Oxford and in Haarlem (the latter in conjunction with the first-ever Leonardo da Vinci exhibition in the Netherlands, Leonardo da Vinci: The Language of Faces at the Teylers Museum).
