Materials And Process: Nandipha Mntambo

Tuesday, September 27th from 6:30-7:30 in Silver Room 300
The NYU Institute of Fine Arts and Professor Shelley Rice are organizing a lecture with Nandipha Mntambo, renowned South African contemporary artist, performs in multiple mediums, challenging notions of an African and Western cultural identity, gender stereotypes, and femininity.  
Many thanks to FAS Board member and CAS Senior Summer Perlow for her help in organizing the event!

“This talk will center around my experience of working within binaries and how this has influenced my artistic production. The works I will discuss explore painting, drawing, printmaking and three-dimensional process.”
This event is free of charge and open to all NYU students.
