Hey Everyone!

We’re getting ready for our annual Young Professional Career Symposium! Come out to hear from recent Art History grads about their professional experiences in the art world and learn about the career options available to students with an Art History degree. The event will beThursday March 31st at 7pm in room 301 in Silver. No RSVP required, but check out our Facebook event HERE! Bring all your burning questions about the world after graduation to ask the panelists. Pizza and refreshments will be served.

Our speakers will feature:

  • Riad Kherdeen: MA student at the Institute of Fine Arts
  • Flavia Grilli: MA student at Gallatin
  • Nora Gorman: Group Sales and Docent Assistant at the New York Historical Society
  • Jeffery Waldron: Gallery Assistant at James Cohan Gallery
  • Alex Greenberger: Writer at ARTNews
But that’s not all for the week! Saturday April 2nd, join us for a trip to MoMA to see the“Edgar Degas: A Strange Beauty” exhibition. This is the first comprehensive exhibition of Degas’s monotypes in over half a century! Meet us at MoMA at 10:45 and don’t forget to bring your NYU ID (ticket is free with your ID).
