Professor Kenneth Silver’s new show, Face and Figure:  The Sculpture of Gaston Lachaise, just opened at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT.  This excellent review, written by Susan Hodora, appeared in the New York Times on September 28th, 2012.

Kenneth Silver is Professor of Modern Art in the Department of Art History and Adjunct Curator at the Bruce Museum.  Department of Art History majors enrolled in Professor Silver’s spring 2012 seminar on modern American sculpture got a preview of some of the themes and issues explored in Professor Silver’s Lachaise show.
