“New York based, Peruvian born artist Milagros de la Torre’s images often project an eerie beauty and visual seduction that precedes their thoughtful, and at times haunting proposal. Observed: Milagros de la Torre features many facets of the artist’s research, covering series made in the 1990s to most recent projects. This exhibition will be the first solo show to present a complex body of works that explore issues of authorship, criminal evidence and aesthetic examination.”
