This year’s lecture, Ibrahim El Salahi’s Postcolonial Modernism, will be given by Professor Okeke-Agulu (Princeton University) and will discuss the role and place of the Sudanese artist Ibrahim El Salahi in the emergence of postcolonial modernism in Africa during the independence decade, late 1950s to late 1960s.
